25 December 1909 — Tile House, Uxbridge, Middlesex | |
Saturday. 25th [December 1909]. Christmas Day. We all 4 went to church at Denham. It was much milder weather. Mr & Mrs Beeves came down in the afternoon & Charlie’s brother William came to stay. At 3.30 there was a Christmas Tree in the dining room for little Katharine & abt 20 little children of men employed on the estate. Later we all went up to tea in the nursery with little Katharine who was made very happy by a present of a rocking horse. | |
