28 May 1910 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Saturday. 28th [May 1910]. I got up by lunch time much restored. Went out in gondola to the Eden’s garden with my guests– Ola returned from Rome just as we were going to bed. After dinner we all went up on to the roof to see Halley’s comet which was not a very remarkable sight the tail being very hazy. | |
