23 July 1910 — Salsomaggiore | |
Saturday. 23rd [July 1910]. I went up to the Thermes & chose my rooms I saw Css. Taverna & told her I should establish myself tomorrow. She introduced me to Countess sister of Css Maria Pasolini of Rome & together we walked back to my hotel. There was a tremendous storm of wind all the afternoon & abt 8 a thunderstorm with very heavy rain cleared & cooled the air wh was a relief as the air was suffocating. | |
