19 October 1910 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Wednesday. 19th [October 1910]. Eda & Nela went to Lido to play tennis returning to lunch. I copied pictures at home for my catalogue. After lunch went in gondola to pick up Mr Price & with him went to Hospital & arranged about painting & repairing it. Then to Piazza & met Eda & walked home. Nela went to call on Mrs Goff which I shirked. On her return she told me they had been disappointed so I must make an appointment & go this week as an expiation! I do so hate going out to 5 o’cl teas! We dined early after Eda had read out to us from Creighton’s Q. Elizabeth & went to the usual Concert at the Sailors’ Inst. The Malagolas dined with us. | |
