13 May 1911 — 3 Savile Row | |
Saturday. 13th [May 1911]. Connie lunched with us & we drove her home to 68 Chester Sqr at 4. Went to call on Myles P’s new relations the Longfields & also on Lady Northcote. She received us all 3 with open arms. We found Lord Mount Stephen with her, a funny old gentleman rather deaf who proceeded to tell us funny stories—& not very refined ones. I dined with Cornelia at Wimborne Hse quite alone—both bored I think last night. | |
