17 September 1911 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Sunday. 17th [September 1911]. A big storm raged all night & the temperature went down from 81º to 70º in my bed room. It cleared eno’ for me to get to church. I brought Sister Chaffey back to lunch with me. The rest of the day was rainy & I did not go out again nor even to the service at the sailor’s Institute in the evening according to my wont. | |
