20 October 1912 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Sunday. 20th [October 1912]. Went to church in morning. Directly after lunch I went off to the station in gondola to meet Donna Laura Minghetti who arrived at 2 from Bologna. I brought her back in triumph being so delighted to have her with me again. She is so charming & young in spirit altho’ 83 years of age & she is so happy here with me. | |
