11 March 1862 — Exeter House, Roehampton | |
Tuesday. 11th [March 1862]. Wrote letters in the morning and went to Mrs Cameron & found they had a new governess and so did not hear the boys their lessons– Went by 2.35 train to Richd. Met Kate, Ria & Poney on Bridge & went for a walk with Kate. Think her baby very ugly but it may grow up pretty– Shannon was over to see baby Alice– Went to catch the 5.30 train home—and missed it so I went back and staid dinner; came home by 10.30 train went to bed at 12– | |
