29 March 1862 — Exeter House, Roehampton | |
Saturday. 29th [March 1862]. Late for breakfast– Montie’s birthday, the children had a holiday—wrote letters & practised in morng. Had a letter from Ivory—the 7th since he left England (Novr). Heard from Car– Ecca went with Con & Capt Schr for drive in poney carriage. I went for a walk with Mr Fla: Milord & Blan: to Richd Park– Met Eleanor & Aubrey Taylor, also Ewen Ca: Also met Miss DuPuis– Dinner at 6½. Played backgammon with Ecca & dominoes– Helped Blanche to tie up flowers wh came from Canford. Bed 10. | |
