20 June 1862 — Canford Manor, nr. Wimborne, Dorset | |
Friday. 20th June [1862]. Breakfast at 9, practised and read in morng, in afternoon went in poney carriage 1st to Wimborne to get the letters and got one from Kitty saying she got home all right, then we went on to Poole to see a horse but came home without seeing it. Played the piano a little in eveng & bed at 11– | |
