4 September 1862 — Canford Manor, nr. Wimborne, Dorset | |
Thursday. 4th [September 1862]. We all went to the Hive directly after breakfast and bathed. Mr Schr & Mr Pon: went out with S.G.O. and we had luncheon in his garden and got home by 3½. Ivor & Arthur arrived just after our return and we then had luncheon. Practised cricket. | |
