30 November 1862 — Exeter House, Roehampton | |
Sunday. 30th [November 1862]. Blanche & I walked to church together and the M. & Schr also went. Connie stopped with Ivory. It was so foggy that we did not go out in the afternoon but sat with Ivory in the study & had chocolate. Ivor read out bits of Hood to us– Went up rather early and Ivor & Con: came to my room as the preceding night & I read from Martin Chuzzlewit till 2 in the morng. | |
