21 December 1862 — Exeter House, Roehampton | |
Sunday. 21st [December 1862]. I, Ivory, Con: & the M went to St Johns. Comg home fell in with Maria & Rd. Ivory went to lunch with them– I, Blanche & Elizabeth went to St Johns in aftern and went into Ash: Cot: to 5 tea. IBG smoked & wrote invitations for a party at Canford in Jany. Maria & Rd came in to dinner– In eveng smoking in my room & I read fm sketches by Boz—till 2 oclock– | |
