30 March 1863 — Exeter House, Roehampton | |
Monday. 30th [March 1863]. Whilst having my hair done Miss K came to say Maria’s servant had the small pox—he was sent off instanta. Mme DuPouy came & I sang with her. In aftern I & the M went to fetch Lilly Holland and took her to the drawing class. On the way home we called on the Taylors & saw the ruin of the church the steeple of wh fell at Sheen. | |
