28 April 1863 — Exeter House, Roehampton
Tuesday. 28th [April 1863]. I, the M & Con: went to town to order our habits & we met Mrs Hambro at the tailors after a little shopping saw the Gordons & returned here by 3. Montie & Arthur came down at 3, also Blossett– Mrs & 2 Miss Kennedys, the Pigous & Mrs Hambro from next door. We had a little croquet but it was bitterly cold and after tea we stayed in & had some singing—some glees etc. Blossett stayed to dinner but I went & dined next door & came home at 11.20.
