29 April 1863 — Exeter House, Roehampton | |
Wednesday. 29th [April 1863]. I went over to Marias the first thing & gave Atwood lessons in hair dressing & sat at home all the afternoon to see Miss Davidson who called with Mrs Arthur Chapman. The M. went to the committee at the Hospital and when she came home looked over the Bazaar things. I had been at Maria’s & I & Susan then came back & put away Bazaar things till dinner. After dinner I read the Story of Elizabeth by Miss Thackeray wh I finished before I went to sleep. | |
