Sunday. 3rd [July 1864]. This is Marias birthday. I went to the Vere St Church & met the M, Connie, the Hambros & Helen coming out also Mr Bruce. In the afternoon Con: went to church with Helen & Susan came in here. Glyn Vivian & Wags came to T & strawberries & cream. Constance dined with the Aldersons & Blanche & EK were still at Ashburton Cottage. I, the M & Flamanck had dinner alone. The M played my accompaniments & I sang the whole evening. | |
