14 November 1864 — Hursley Park, nr. Winchester, Hampshire | |
Monday. 14th [November 1864]. I & Monty left Hursley at 8 & drove to Bishopstoke & went to town. Flamanck met me in town but I went shopping & to see the Aldersons & went down to Roehampton by train at 2.15. Got home at abt 3. Had lunch & after talking to the M. went to see Maria & sat with her till dinner time. Maria & Rd dined with us & in the eveng Rd & Flamanck had a pitched battle & both got frantic. | |
