13 November 1869 — 21 Grafton Street | |
Saturday. 13th [November 1869]. Mr Warrington Hood finished & took away Henry’s bust he had been doing this last week—despite the rush & packing. It promises to be very like. At 2 Henry & I got into the brougham & went to bid the Rates good bye & found Alice had been worse this week—but we left her better. We then drove straight down to Grannie’s at Bkheath. We dined at ½ past 7 & went early to bed. | |
