15 November 1869 — Blackheath | |
Monday. 15th [November 1869]. Henry went up to town early for the day to finish all the business & packing at 21 Grafton St. Grannie & I spent the day quietly together looking over some of her papers &c. when Miss Berkely came in. At abt 4 Blanche arrived having driven down from Ovington Gardens where she is staying with Connie & L. Henry came back to dinner at 6 & Blanche stayed till ½ past 9 when she drove back. As it was so late we persuaded her to take her maid Harriet with her for fear of any accident. | |
