Monday. 7th [February 1870]. In the afternoon I suddenly became alive to the fact that I had lost my crystal & jewelled top flacon—which upset me a good deal. We had our usual dinner party Los Marquises de la Vega de Armijo, M et Mme Bernar &c. I had had the flacon Sunday at the concert & it was eventually found in the concert room under my chair. | |
