Saturday. 12th [February 1870]. Weather still dull. I did not go out tho’ I had hoped to do so with Mme Canitz. In afternoon Mr Ittersum & M. Saurma called & the latter brought me some fans he had found for me. I chose rather a nice old one for 12 douros. | |
