Friday. 27th [May 1870]. A very busy day as the messenger returned to England & Henry was obliged to give me some of the Chancery work besides my ordinary copying. I made up some little parcels to send to England: rosaries from Cordoba silver buckles from Seville &c. At 5 we rode in the Casa– Mrs Burr returned from Toledo. | |
