24 September 1870 — Madrid | |
Saturday. 24th [September 1870]. At 11 I went to breakfast at the Regency. Found the Regent had gone hunting– I worked with the Dss till 3 & then came home. At 5 we went out riding in the suburbs. We dined alone & after dinner I did tapestry & sang a little & to bed early. | |
