21 November 1870 — Madrid | |
Monday. 21st [November 1870]. Not very well so I did not get up till 12. In the afternoon Mrs Lilburn called. We had a great dinner party. Our 5 selves the Regent & Dss de la Torre, Genl Prim, & Css de Reus, the Duke & Dss de Tetuan, Genl Milans del Bosch, Cerruti & Canitz an A.D.C of the Regent’s & Sagasta. After dinner we had a good many people & rather a pleasant chatty evening but no music. | |
