10 December 1870 — Madrid | |
Saturday. 10th [December 1870]. A very wet day wh made us the more glad we had made our excursion yesterday while it was fine—we did not go out– Adeline & I played the piano together in the afternoon when Mr Ash: came & Mr Blanc & soon after Mme Bauer came & we had tea in my boudoir. At 6 Inzenga gave me a singing lesson. Mr Ff dined with us & then we joined the De Martinos at the Opera & saw Festa & Tiberini in “Martha.” | |
