16 March 1871 — Madrid | |
Thursday. 16th [March 1871]. I went to the dentist & afterwards met Henry at the Retiro gardens & we took a walk to see the Almond trees in flower & to the Zoos & saw the monkeys in their new cage– After dinner we went to the Presidencia where I saw Mme Canitz. Serrano is away with the King. | |
