17 May 1871 — Madrid | |
Wednesday. 17th [May 1871]. Got up with a headache which soon obliged me to go to bed where I remained all day, till time to dress for dinner when I was better & got up. The Riaños, Gay & Dr Bonifacio Riaño & Mr Twistleton dined. After dinner the De Martinos came– At 11 the M & S arrived from Toledo. | |
