19 October 1871 — Madrid | |
Thursday. 19th October [1871]. It was a wet day & the 1st breakup of the summer weather. At 3 I went to the dentist & fetched Emilia & we drove together & left some cards. After dinner we went to the De Martinos where Henry played whist & there were a few people but we came away early. | |
