Sunday. 21st January [1872]. Church in morning & went at 2 to the Concert & had some splendid pieces—amongst which was a quintett of Schumann’s which to me was quite new. The Legation & Lord St Asaph dined with us & then we went to Mme Montijos but did not stay very long. | |
