Wednesday. 17th April [1872]. I went off to breakfast with the Serranos– The heat was tremendous. Henry came at one to fetch me & I felt just faint coming home– At 3 we had a threatening of a thunderstorm but it ended in a dust storm– Mr Ashburnham came at 5 & took leave of us– | |
