Monday. 3rd June [1872]. Mme Bernar came to see me also the F. Ambss & Mme Vernouillet—& then Susan & I went out for a drive & walked in the Buen Retiro & found it cold & windy. Mrs Burr came back from Toledo arriving at 10½ at night. | |
