Tuesday. 9th [July 1872]. Spent the morning with Alice Rate. There was a great party given by the P. & Pss of Wales at Chiswick. I did not go but Henry went in the M’s carriage with her S. & Blanche. Constance came & sat with me & we had tea & Ld St Germans came & fetched her & paid me a visit. | |
