Saturday. 3rd [August 1872]. We breakfasted early & left Charing X by 8.30 train; there Maria & Rd met us & we took M with us. Had a splendid crossing to Boulogne & got to Paris in time for dinner—after wh Henry & Maria took a walk & I retired to bed. | |
