2 August 1872 — Langham House, Portland Place | |
Friday. 2nd [August 1872]. I went out shopping with Dentoni & at 12½ Hy & I went to see Mrs Austen but returned to L Hse for lunch. Mr & Mme Moret, Mrs (Kemble) Austin lunched with us & Susan who came up from Aldermaston this morng. Afterwards she & I went out shopping & I went & sat with Connie who was not down today & then took leave of her & went back to L Hse to finish packing. We dined alone & went early to bed. | |
