5 August 1872 — Dôle | |
Monday. 5th [August 1872]. We went on to Soleure (Solothurn) & had a lovely day thro’ the most beautiful country. It was raining when we got to Soleure but it cleared up in the eveng & when we had had some dinner Henry & Maria went out walking & bought me some knitting wool. | |
