6 August 1872 — Soleure | |
Tuesday. 6th [August 1872]. We went on to Coire & had a most tiring day with constant changes these Swiss lines being so short. The line near the Wallensee was magnificent running by the side of the lake & in & out of galleries coming upon fresh beauties at every minute. We got to Coire just in time for the table d’hôte; there were a good many people chiefly English. We went early to bed. | |
