18 September 1872 — Mâcon | |
Wednesday. 18th [September 1872]. At 8.30 we started for Paris & got into a coupé with a very nice old French gentleman who was very civil & talked to Henry almost all the way. We breakfasted at Dijon & got to Paris abt 6 so that we dined comfortably at Antoines & went to bed after reading a heap of letters wh were waiting there for us. | |
