23 September 1872 — Paris | |
Monday. 23rd [September 1872]. I had not been well all night wh I attributed to some sirop which I had taken & wh must have turned bad on the journey so I started feeling very seedy. The Somers met us at the station (abt 10.40) & we went as far as Angoulême where we slept a night. | |
