1 October 1872 — Madrid | |
Tuesday. 1st October 1872. We are very anxious about Lady Somers. The Dr comes twice a day & burns her throat with lemon juice & she is thoroughly ill & cannot swallow without difficulty. We spent all this week in & out of her room & Hill took charge of her & slept by her. | |
