18 October 1872 — Madrid | |
Friday. 18th [October 1872]. I wrote letters & we were going out driving when directly after lunch Zorilla called. I went out & returned for Henry & fetched him. We drove to the top of the Fuente where we got out & walked down to the end of Prado & then drove home. Visit from the new Italian mil: attache Colobiano & his brother who was here last year & is now at Paris. We dined alone. Telegram to say the Somers will return tomorrow. | |
