23 October 1872 — Madrid | |
Wednesday. 23rd [October 1872]. I went to breakfast with the Serranos. A very cold windy day. Find the Dss’: were angry with the K & Queen & resolved not to go to Court this winter. From Serranos I went to meet Lady S. at Gardeners & there also Addie met us. We went home to luncheon & then Addie went back to him with Hill. I stayed at home with Lady Somers. | |
