Friday. 1st November [1872]. Wrote all the morning. Mr Whyte called. After lunch I went out leaving cards & Henry rode. Had a visit from some English Mrs & Miss Buch & Mr & Mrs Maddox introduced by Mrs Locke. The Riaños dined with us—but left early. | |
