7 November 1872 — Madrid | |
Thursday. 7th [November 1872]. Wrote a lot of letters. I went out driving with Henry & we called on the Rianos & then we went to walk in the Retiro. It was a lovely day, the sun quite hot. I called on Mme Dragonetti. Koudriaffsky called at the same time & was amusing. He said he had seen the King & Queen & the Prince out driving at 10 this morng. Mme Drag: said they had taken to this quite lately. Mr John Lemoins called on us. | |
