8 November 1872 — Madrid | |
Friday. 8th [November 1872]. I went out driving alone. Called on Mme Koudriaffsky & found Sir Charles & Lady Murray with her & when they were gone some French ladies called so I went away left a few cards & went to see Mme Bauer & then came home before 4. Ffrench called & returned to dine with us—& went away early in the evening to go to the Philharmonic Concert. | |
