4 December 1872 — Madrid | |
Wednesday. 4th December [1872]. I went to breakfast with the Dss de la Torre & Henry came at 1 in the carriage to fetch me. We went to leave a card on a Mr Rasem at the Calle de Pacifico wh we found to be the last house in the town outside the Atocha Gate. We got home to luncheon at 2. Afterwards I set to work to paint till 4 when Mr Ffrench came to help me to make out the invitations for our dance & we worked on till dinner when he left. | |
