Saturday. 25th [January 1873]. Wrote letters all the morning & a lesson from Esquivel. Henry & I drove out after lunch & took a walk in the Fuente. We there met the Hunts & walked with them & afterwards went to the Dragonettis. We went to the Opera & saw Ernani done badly by a Mlle Pascual & stayed rather late– | |
