26 January 1873 — Madrid | |
Sunday. 26th [January 1873]. I drew all the morng & then after lunch we went to the last quartett concert & then to call on the Sickles. The Genl was not in but as we were coming away we met him at the door & returned. The baby was brought in & I took him for some time. The Dragonettis, Mr Gayangos & Mr Nicholas besides Messrs Sey & Hag: dined with us & we had a pleasant quiet evening. | |
