7 March 1873 — Madrid | |
Friday. 7th [March 1873]. I copied all the morning for Henry. Mrs Hamilton came & the youngest child who is better & I gave him soup &c At 3½ we went out riding & met Monteverde who rode with us. On our return had a visit from Mmes Jooris & Piepentraube & Mme J brought her 3 little girls in white serge pelisses & gaiters with blue buttons. Mr Hunt & Mirecki dined with us & Clarita & Inzenga came afterwards & we rehearsed for Monday. | |
