16 April 1873 — Madrid | |
Wednesday. 16th April [1873]. Finer weather. Henry went to the gallery– Old Sr Carderera called & I went out at 4 & left him with Henry who just came home. I went to see the Hamilton children & to give them hints abt printery & stayed with them for abt at hour & then went on to see the Whytes & paid them a short visit. Then went to leave a book at Ct Rascon’s for Henry. We went to Lindstrand’s ball & took Luisa Aylton with us. Mme de Canitz did the honors & it was very pleasant. We did not stay late– | |
